Worst experience I have had and still having with a moving company. To start the day they showed up to move they didn’t bring a big enough truck so they left a whole room of furniture that they didnt on the truck. I had to go rent a uhaul at 7pm at night to finish the packing so I could leave that night to drive to my new location. Then once the truck arrived at my new house and they unloaded it. This review is 70% false. The truck that picked them was empty and had plenty of room for additional furniture. We loaded exactly what furniture was estimated to go. They wanted to add a bedroom set but didn't want to pay any more money. If you add furniture the price will increase. The appliances yes were damaged and we apologize for that. I am so glad I found Joseph and Chris and the whole crew at On Time Moving and Storage. Leda is a real sweetheart and kept me updated on everything before hand and even called after the move to see if everything was ok. I have had some really bad experiences from other companies (broken stuff, scratched furniture and stolen stuff). Recently hired On Time Moving and Storage out of St. Augustine, FL for the third time in five years. Note: There are a couple other companies in Florida called On Time so make sure you get the guys in St. Augustine. I worked with Bobby in the office there. First off, their charges are good. When it is time to choose who will move your valuables from one place to another it can be overwhelming. I told myself after this move was complete I would absolutely go write a review as there seems to be so many negative reviews on moving companies. I just (2 weeks ago) moved my mother from FL to MA after my father had passed. I must have gotten 30 quotes from moving companies and the phone calls came in for weeks after trying to get my business. Even had one company bad mouth another company when they asked who I chose. If you are in Florida and looking for a moving company long or short search no more this company moved me from JAX to Lansing and all my stuff were fine and there is no extra fees or any of that scams the arrival date was different than I thought but it's fine because they informed me. I highly recommend them reasonable price and perfect service.
The two guys that came to my house, ***** & ****, were amazing, never on the cell phone, when they showed up got to work stayed working till work was completed, very nice, courteous, professional, wrapped everything, and nothing was damaged. I would recommend them again and again, they did an exceptional job!!!!
