The Omni LaCosta is a nice resort with spacious rooms and a couple of good restaurants. I was disappointed that the spa was not very well kept. There were rips in the furniture and cob webs everywhere! I saw a spider web under one lady's chair while we were having lunch. Other than that, it was nice enough. I've always wanted to visit but not sure I'd come back
We were there for the USMC Ball last night. Over all, it was a fun night. Although the table service was terrible and the food was awful.
Great beautiful villa with patio and fireplace. The guys loved both of the golf courses and Nancy night enjoyed the spa experience.
They never emailed my receipt as promised when I checked out. I have tried 4 times to get a copy and no response at all from the accounting department. It had been over a month and I now have to pay taxes on it. Very, very upset with the level of service.
Too many kids and bad parenting!!! Not a relaxing getaway! Tried to do a couple activities but since we weren't members, couldn't--I.e. Smores rooms were too noisy. Could hear the people above us walking around and using the toilet and the room next to us had obnoxious kids screaming and trying to open the connecting door.
This was my first visit to the resort, it was great, the staff was very professional and polite. This place had everything that a family needed with or without children. I would definitely recommend you vist and experience for yourself. I will go back again.
