Absolutely one of the worst experiences that I have ever had at a doctors office. Appointment was at 10am was to arrive by 9:45. I arrived at 9:30. Took care of all the paper work and copay. At 11:05 I walked out having not seen the doctor yet!!!! This just shows me that he does not care and does not value his patients time at all.
Dr. O’Mara performed bilateral Total Knee Replacements (TKRs) for me in April 2017. He was personable and direct in the first visit; clear that both knees needed attention. I waited 5 years longer that I should have. Dr. O’Mara was appropriately cautious & discouraging of me dong both knees on the same day. But I convinced him that bilateral TKR was right for me. I went to his office 2 weeks following surgery only using a cane; and golfing by July 2017. I Highly recommend Dr. O’Mara.
Good experience from my first visit, through the hip replacement, and my first follow up appointment. No more pain!!
Dr. O'Mara is thorough and shows care and concern. He listens attentively, and answers and explains your diagnosis and treatment in layman terms.
Dr. O'Mara was very detailed in explaining the ac tightrope procedure. He made me feel at ease and didnt pressure me into the surgery. The surgery went as expected and my shoulder mobility/strength are increasing daily. Thanks to Dr. O'Mara and his staff!
I was admitted to Upper Chesapeake hospital after breaking my ankle. Dr OMara was the doctor on call. I had emergency surgery the next morning Other doctors and hospitals reassured me I had the best I must agree. I don't believe I could have had a better one. He explained everything to me up front. Told me everything to look forward to. My fracture was very bad,but I healed fast. I Credit him and his staff for that. I highly recommend him.

First visit wasn't horrible, other than waiting an hour and a half before seeing him. Not a great bedside manner but seemed to want to get to the root of the issue. Second visit - just got worse...didn't even have the right body part in his chart... very arrogant
