Olympia Moving and Storage provided an accurate quote and had excellent services. They accommodated a change in dates and added extra services such as junk removal at the last minute. The coordinator and representative were available to talk at any time and the crew was excellent.I would highly recommend them.

I want to offer a personal caution. I found out Sat that my 98 year old mother is dying in a few weeks. I need to get all of my remaining stuff out of her house so after she dies the house can be cleaned and put up for sale. From *** through Wed I was calling them and exchanging emails. I was also moved between 4 people. I was told they could do it this Sat then it was changed to ***. The last time I called an operator (?) told me yeah the phone rings all the time. Loved the fact that ***** did a virtual walkthrough rather than asking us to detail everything we needed moved in order to get an estimate. ***** made us feel very comfortable with the process right from the beginning.I tried to get multiple estimates, but one company did not call me back and the other wanted me to detail everything we wanted moved on my own in order for them to provide us an estimate. I notified Candace ***** by email on September 28 that I was missing a box of kitchen items. She replied that they would look for it. I didn’t hear anything back so I sent another email on October 14. Her reply was that I could file a claim. Included in the email was a statement about the insurance coverage that there is a 30 limit to file. That left me 3 days to file. I feel that I was ignored so that I would miss the filing deadline.
My decision to choose Olympia Moving & Storage Company for my recent move (June, 2020) from Newton, MA, to Bourne, MA, is definitely one I regret. Several documented particulars of the move from February until the day before were (1) the arrival time at my Newton home was to be between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m.; and (2) a team of three men would arrive on the day of the move.
