I have been a patient of Dr. Awosika for several years. He truly cares and asks how I am and follows up with whatever I had going on in my personal life after not seeing me for three months. Every time I see him I feel comfortable and very cared for as a whole person. I have seen many, many Psychiatrist and never have I had one who cared about how I have been actually feeling and quickly put me at ease with his advice and expertise and knowledge of many wonderful medications. He is always willing to include my family in his treatment plan for me and readily answers my questions.
Dr Awosika WILL invade your privacy while he checks your social media accounts. More often than not, he will do what is in his best interest and not the patient's. The two receptionists constantly complain about their job - creating a very negative atmosphere. Dr Awosika's education AND residency is questionable at best. Oh yeah, he is NOT afraid to completely stop your medications, regardless of your side effects. I would highly encourage patients to seek care of a different psychiatrist.

I have been mentally ill for 16 years and you have been the kindest, most helpful and certainly the funniest and best psychiatrist I have ever known. I almost went into the hospital recently but you helped me right away; and I am so thankful that my life is busy and back to normal! You made mu gratitude list today! I thanks God for you.
