Dr. Awosika is friendly and professional. He listens to patients' needs and changes in their needs from appointment to appointment.
I love Dr.Awosika! He truly saved my life! I have seen other psychiatrists, and none of them have even come close Dr.Awosika! Some of them were just pill pushers...Dr.Awosika really cares about me and my well being!!
A regularly scheduled visit and since I felt better about myself, it was what I would consider a 'bonus' visit. I appreciate how much the doctor remembers about me. I feel important and valued as a patient.
Dr.Awosika is wonderful, I first saw him for treatment resistant depression and now I am much better, thanks to him!
I completed TMS therapy at Pinnacle and had a mixed experience. My initial interview with Dr. Awosika felt a little strange and invasive for the treatment plan. Overall, the TMS therapy went well for me. However, the staffing was not really consistent as they went between clinics. Also, I had an appointment cancelled "for another patient" that I later found out was a lie. If I wanted to do talk therapy, I probably would not come here. I have been seeing Dr. O for over two years and he is wonderful. I am a therapist myself and have worked with many different psychiatrists over the years, and I feel strongly that he is top-notch. He is warm, friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and a good listener. He has extensive training and experience in psychiatry to draw from and is very professional, yet still completely approachable. About 10 years ago, I walked into Dr Varma's office, no diagnosis. Was a HEAVY stimulant user which he didn't seem to notice hence why I literally (17 years old) convinced a profressional to prescribe me to the strongest benzo, Klonipin. Gave me almost zero warnings about what my life would become when he decided my insurance wasn't covering enough and pawned me off on an unrelated doctor after trying to revoke my life saving meds. His receptionists are all nosey morons. Pinnacle Behavioral Clinic is the epitome of "people that don't deserve your business". They refused to see me unless I gave them cash even though they received Medicare and Medicaid. Also, the receptionist assaulted me by grabbing my wrist just so I would not bother my Nurse Practitioner, Cassidy Peterson. When I told Ms. Peterson, she could care less I was assaulted.
