We have been patients of Dr. Olmedo for years. He's the very, very best. If anyone is looking for a wonderful, compassionate and qualified dermatologist -- See Dr. Olmedo. Years ago my husband had been diagnosed with a skin condition. He was told it was incurable and no treatment for it. Our primary care doctor said to see Dr. Olmedo. He immediately said the wrong diagnosis had been given. And would have my husband healed within two weeks. His rash was cured in less than two weeks.
Entire office and staff is just wonderful! I had been trying to get into see a dermatologist for a horrible rash... everywhere I called gave me the next available date which was 2 months +! I was recommended to Dr. Olmedo by a close friend, when i called to make an appointment they had nothing for 5 weeks but I was offered to be put on a cancellation list and was called the next day! I was greeted with a smile from the second I walked into the office. Great doctor and staff. Thank you!
My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Olmedo for years. I am 90, on cane+heart cond.Dr. O. has always been professional/kind. Yesterday was a nightmare for us! Staff said I did not have an appointment after my wife's and that I didn't have a referral and that Dr. Olmedo REFUSED TO SEE ME! I had an appointment my wife made by phone and ,if I had a referral I could come with her. Office denies this and that they received a referral. My primary doctor sent another right away. Staff Rude+Loud!
I’m so glad I was referred to Dr. Olmedo for my skin. From the moment I walked in, the front desk girls made me feel comfortable and I honestly felt like they were happy to see me. Everything from the cleanliness of the office to the way you are treated by the administration up front give you the reassurance that you are in good hands. This was just my first impression. Wow! So thorough, I thought I liked my previous dermatologist, but this was the most thorough skin check I’ve ever had! Never felt for comfortable on who was taking care of me and my skin cancers.
I am a retired physician. I noticed a worrisome lesion and called Dr. Olmedo. I was scheduled for the very next day. Treatment prompt, efficient and complete.
Best bedside manner: humane and compassionate, empathetic and supportive. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Olmedo for over 9 years. We drive all the way from the east valley to seek his medical expertise. He is extremely passionate about his work and spot on with all diagnosis. He's kind and gentle in his approach. He explains his findings thouroughly in layman's terms. He will be our physician of choice for a long time to come. Definitely worth the drive!
