Dr. Oliver made sure I was informed prior to my choice to have a knee replacement. His program of educating the patient prior and letting you choose when surgery is necessary shows his commitment to patient care. Dr. Oliver called my home prior to surgery, checked in with me at the hospital before and after surgery, and called my home that evening to make sure all was well. Wait time after being checked in should not be longer than 30 minutes, but sometimes it's even longer.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Oliver. I was a practicing RN for 44 years and I am rather particular about physicians taking care of me. Besides being highly skilled Dr. Oliver is caring and compassionate. He was never rushed during my visits and explained things well, was happy to answer any questions. TKR went perfect. Great bedside manners. Excellent communication, patient, honest and sincere.
Dr. Oliver performed hip replacement surgery on me on July 12th. Within a few days I no longer needed to take any pain medication. Likewise, my PT went extremely well. Interestingly, both my out patient therapist and nurse mentioned they have had great success working with patients of Dr. Oliver. I attribute this to Dr. Oliver’s expertise. I have osteoarthritis. Dr. Oliver did my previous knee & 2 hip replacements. In April, I had my other total knee replacement. The process was a smooth, wonderful experience. Everyone at BID Plymouth Hosp., & Dr. Oliver and his staff were all caring, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. This surgery was a total success. I had no infection or other complication. I am completely pleased.
had full right knee replacement surgery on April 21, 2021, which was performed by Dr Oliver and am extremely happy with results. The BID-Plymouth staff was great as well.
