I love collaborating with Olin staff to obtain mental health services for those in need. We appreciate all they do for our student community!
Was anyone aware that STD testing at Olin is not considered a medical necessity (so not covered my insurance) and they charge you upwards to 200 dollars for it- regardless of the results? Students should really be able to get STD testing for a reduced cost. That’s why people don’t get checked! It’s too expensive to! Go to planned parenthood for STD testing, y’all. Olin is a scam
If I could give Olin less than 1 star I would. In the two years I went I was shuffled between 6 doctors because they can’t seem to keep staff members for more than 6 months. I haven’t been treated there for over 3 years and to this day every semester Olin has a hold on my account for unexplainable bills despite the fact that I’ve always had insurance, good insurance. I would never ever recommend anyone waste their time or money at this joke of a health center.
The receptionists are awful and don’t put you through to your doctor/counselor. They don’t seem to know the answers to basic questions about which department to go to. I’ve also had 2 times that they didn’t schedule me for an appointment and I showed up and was told I didn’t have an appointment, even though I had scheduled one with them.
