RecommendedI'm a frequent patron of the Woodhaven Olga's. But today deserves a review. I was impressed greatly with my server Sabrina. As a former waitress for many years and current old person, I find I am very critical of today younger generation of waitstaff. As a cohort their lack of initiative and intuitiveness is quite annoying. But Sabrina, is an in a league of her own. Best restaurant with the best staff make sure you see Gina and sit in her section
It’s pretty sad when we go out to lunch (12:35pm). Get seated really quick with menus. But another 25 minutes passed & no one came to take a drink order even! My grandson (5 years old) kept trying to flag someone down saying “I’m hungry!” quite loud. I do realize they were busy at first. Orders all came up at once. Ok. But those people ate & left. Great food, very friendly server, I have met Olga years ago when my Daughter Managed the original Olgs in Royal Oak......
For one all we ordered was soup and salad, it took her 20 minutes to get drinks and then 20 more minutes to get our order, then we had to ask where our food was 40 minutes later we got our salads during that time we be ver got any refills on drinks. Then we get a small bowl of smackers then we get our soup without spoons I waited to se the waitress hen I had to ask someone else if I could have spoon. They did apologize but this is redictulous for all the waiting. We will not be back for along time if we do go back.
Delicious food, clean, friendly atmosphere. My 3year old loves their “slinky” fries!!
