Have played it before - Wonderful course. Recent floods did some damage but they are working on it. I will return in the Spring.
I've golfed at this place for years, only because it's right down the street. It use to be a great course, but lately it has not been maintained very well. horrible and inconsistent greens, very poor sand traps, if you could call them that. There are no yardage markers either. A lot of their employees have been very rude and dry. Example, I had on nice jeans, and a polo. Don't waste your money. Greens are horrific, sand boxes are full of grass and tee boxes are atrocious. Owners are more worried about what's being cooked in the restaurant than they are about the state of the course. Waste of money.
Nice course even in the winter month. We walked and seemed to stay on pace but the cart is included in the price which might have had us going alittle faster but enjoy the fitness.
Horrible customer service experience. Never going back!
the design and layout was and is amazing for twenty seven holes, however, it needs a lot of improvements such as sand traps and pro shop. I admire the views on some of the holes and miss seeing the alligator laying out and getting some sun by the driving range. I still give it a four star golf course in north Louisiana; it's not a challenging course, it's a fun course. fooooore!
