For the price you can’t beat the playability of the course. It is getting better and better. The more play they get the better the course will be. I have spent more and played courses that were not as good.
Club house is unkempt, only 9 of 27 holes are playable currently. Particle board lain across wood cart bridge as a stop gap repair, only 1 ball washer for the 1st 9 holes, sand traps... WITH NO SAND?!?. Flags on the greens are ragged. It appears as though this was once a fantastic place which has gone to seed. I am new to this course and will continue to play there in the hope that they are able to recover this possibly beautiful venue. Oh, play/pass fee is exorbitant.
course has drastically gone downhill. use to be a decent course with a decent green fee , green fee has gone up even with half of the course closed and the other half not properly maintained.
Played here about a year and a half ago and the course was in rough shape but stuck it through so I decided to give it another go this morning. Booked the tee time yesterday for myself and a friend. We got there and was told we would be playing meadow then meadow again which wasn’t a big deal but when the round started we saw just how bad of shape the course was still in. We ended up losing over a dozen balls in only 9 holes and most were decent shots but you can’t find the balls in all of the cut hay grass and the extreme r... read more
Is the course in great shape? No, but it is still a fun place to play. As of the date of this post, the course is in better condition than it was last year. When the bridge on sligo road was getting replaced it severely hurt the buissness. ironically the condition of the course makes it a great place to practice. if you can play well ot of the rough and avoid the unintentionally created water hazards at olde oaks, you can play anywhere. Another benefit is the 35.00 with a cart green fee. nowhere else in the area can you get ... read more
This course has come a long way from a year ago. Hank has put so much effort in getting the course back right. I would recommend to anyone to go and see how much it has come. Love playing here especially since it is so close to my home.
Place is a dump. Worst course I’ve ever played.
The course was awful and the greens were atrocious! Hard to believe peeps pay to play here!!!
If you could give 0 Stars that’s what it deserves. They have no money apparently to water the course and all the grass is dead. Hosted a tournament here over a year ago and was embarrassed. Awesome layout but it’s like playing golf on a bed of rocks. Greens were all dead. Sad but I’m sure it would take millions to get it back up to par...
