It was an interesting mix of actual museum display buildings and then some of the historical buildings contained commercial knickknack shops. There were many restaurants near by.
I think it's a very neat place to visit. Barra Barra has the best Mexican food around.
I bought a luchador mask here- awesome does not do justice in describing what transpired at old town :0)

Great place to visit. You could spend the whole day there. Lots to do and see...and eat! Wear you walking shoes. Don't forget your camera. everyone is so friendly and the customer service was excellent.
