This is a must stop whenever we are in San Diego.
This was our second time and aging awesome food was great and margaritas were Xmas
That stuck us in the back where they must stash the tourists so no atmosphere. Food was cold when it arrived. Taste was adequate. Service was slow. And inattentive. The margarita was ok. Won’t go back.
When i am in San Diego area we go there for the last 25 years We this saturday we were celebrating my wife birthday terrible service the waiter took like 45 min to serve the food then we asked fir a spoon and silverware took like 10min then she csme with a tes spoon but a soup spoon took again another 10 mnutes we asked for tostada shields after like 10 came only one all grease telling we did not have more tostadas please please no tostadas a big mexican rest Then she did not offer coffee the lemons hatd not juice Finallly s... read more
Was not happy with my carne asada burrito ! Meat had to much fat on it ! Did not enjoy my meal ! 👎🏽
The crispy quesadilla was a surprise and awesome! All of our food was delicious!
We love Old Town Mexican Cafe! We’ve been coming for over 25 years!!! The food is always great, service is good and they don’t mind plate sharing!! If you are there and there’s a line, get your name in...it’s worth the wait!! The salsa and homemade tortillas are amazing! We love waiting for our table and watching the gifted ladies make tortillas...it makes one appreciate them even more seeing all the hard work!!! We never eat anywhere else but here!
Just the atmosphere you want been going there since 1981 have homemade corn and flour tortillas the best
I didn’t get the hype. We drove from Huntington Beach. My daughter and son in law love this place. Asada was Ok, appetizer was good fresh tortillas fabulous. Beans and rice average at best. Had a michelada to drink and that was average as well. Notice I said a not more than one. Service was ok, my Son inlaw asked for a to go Pepsi. Server came back with an empty plastic cup �. I won’t be going back good thing it’s placed In old town and I didn’t have to pay. The sight seeing made up for the drive.
