A friend of mine took me to OTMC while we were visiting town. He raved about it. The atmosphere is fanatic and so are the margaritas. We told the waiter we were visiting from Las Vegas and asked him to bring me what OTMC was famous for. He brought me the pork carnitas. I wasnt wowed by the flavor it just wasn’t anything to get excited about. The 2nd day we came back for lunch before we made our way back to Las Vegas. The fish tacos were average and service was nothing like I’m used to here in the land of over the top service... read more

I was in old town 4 some work, I service most of S D but I rarely get down to this area, I took a quick stroll down the blvd hungery for authentic mexican food, I chose this place on a whim, I figured it would either be really bad or really good, I was not disappointed, I chose the chilaquiles con huevos & BAMMMMM they were on point! Just like tia used 2 make, arguably the best I've ever had, I got a healthy portion that I snacked on for the rest of the day I will definitely be back, The service, A young man was really nice ... read more

Loved the daily specials & tried the 3 enchilada special Especially the shrimp enchilada was yummy!..And the tortillas with butter..the best in San Diego..God bless those ladies .they deserve a raise

I was a regular customer of this restaurant until the incident that occurred this past Sunday evening. After them dropping the ball on not writing my name down on the list. The “managers” Sergio Gomez and Marco Espinoza were very unprofessional and rude. Instead of apologizing for their mistake, they said we would have to keep on waiting like everyone else and if I didn’t like it, to feel free and leave. So I did and went next door to cafe coyote where the food is so much better and great Customer service. I will never retur... read more

Whenever I go to Old Town SD I eat here for the handmade tortillas, however, as of late the food has not been up to par. The "refried" beans were mostly whole beans and quite lumpy, inspite of the fact that I requested creamy refried beans because the last time I was there I had the same issue with the "refried" beans. I ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was quite dry, only had a few slivers of peppers and onion, granted it was very busy, we waited almost an hour to be sested but I would've waited a little longer if th... read more
