There was banana flies everywhere. Disgusting, I got the healthy brunch and the potatoes were good. The rest of the food was disappointing. The avocado was brown, the salat was certainly not fresh (close to gone bad), the salmon was dry, the eggs were ok. The prices were ridiculous high compared to the quality of the food. Not a good experience. Our male waiter was nice. The juice was good.
Good food and found the service was great. We went on a friday midday and it wasnt too busy.
This is one of the best places to go for brunch with a variety of amazing sweet and savoury options on the menu! Sometimes they are a victim of their own success and service can be a little slower, but they are attentive and I welcome the relaxed vibe of a weekend. I plan to keep going back until I've tried everything on the menu... At least twice! �
We walked in on a Saturday morning right when they opened. We were seated right away. I have been dying to go there for a long while, and boy was I not disappointed. Our Server (I believe) was Sam, he was awesome, very attentive with us newbies. Got plenty of coffee refills (even after we asked for the bill). Went with my hubby and my 2 picky eaters. Definitely will be back!
Was shown to our table and waited over 15 minutes while wait staff ignored us. One of the waitresses spoke loudly about how she was not going to serve our section. This is unacceptable behaviour in a city that is filled with numerous eateries. The girl who showed us to our table was also oblivious. When I told her the reason we were leaving, she offered no apology nor did she seem to care. We live in the neighbourhood and eat out often. We will never return here.
I ordered the blueberry pancakes and it was amazing! Unfortunately the service was lacking, we almost finished eating before I got a coffee refill and we ask for a chocolate shake and was told that they were out of chocolate ice cream and they didn't offer any alternative. It felt like they just wanted us to eat and leave �disappointing really!
I am the Former President of The NFL Players association San Diego California and i've been to a lot of places. Old school is now a favorite of mine. You can be sure, the next time I'm in Canada this will be a must go to place. Thank you for the great experience.
