I’ve been shopping and trading at Old 'N' Gold for many years now, and every experience has been outstanding. Every point of contact at the store is incredibly warm, courteous, and knowledgeable. Staff was efficient and courteous but not the best place to cash in old silver Jewelry--offered only 81% of the current silver price even though I brought in worn pure silver coins. If you want the best price for silver use KMG in Winnipeg. It may take a bit of time but you will get the best price.
Would highly recommend going elsewhere if you want good customer service. The pieces are beautiful, but the attitude from the two younger women working is horrific. They made numerous mistakes that cost me more money and were highly combative. Horrible experience. Used to love it here but the new hires sass makes it uncomfortable to shop there now.
So far I've found my experience with old and gold to be pleasant. Gentleman behind the counter have been helpful and informative
