I moved away over 2 years ago and today my dog, Han, my best friend, was diagnosed with a terrible life threatening condition. The local vet I was seeing was unable to explain it very well and I called Old Lyme Veterinary hospital to talk to Neil. Even years later he remember my dog and helped by sending us some very detailed information and helping me to rationalize the situation by giving me hard facts. I cannot say enough about these folks....Kylo was diagnosed with Idiopathic Epilepsy and they followed our journey even after the referral to Pieper....unfortunately Kylo could not be helped and Neil took the time out to comfort us before and after Kylo's passing....genuinely good people and I strongly recommend them for your vet needs!!!
I wish there were 6 stars : OLVH sets the bar for showing compassion, delivering extra loving care, going the extra mile to explain diagnosis/prognosis/procedures/expectations , and above all ; ensuring that many homeless and indigent rescues receive all of the above at a fair and often times discounted price. No better vet practice around!
