Great service and quality products. I've only tried 2 of their breads but both were good and hearty. My sweetspot is the sweets and they have a great variety. Had never heard of bienenstich (honey and cream cake topped with almonds) prior to visiting but I get a piece almost every week as part of my 'cheat' night.

Best sweet pastry bakery in Hoboken. Coffee specialty is very good. Fair prices. Clean. Free wi-fi. Tranquil atmosphere. Honestly, no advertising needed for this unique bakery! Love it!

Just what my mama and I needed, good coffee, dessert and bread for the ride home.
My fiance and I visited the OGB three years ago when we were in college and went to visit some friends in NJ. As we were planning to stop by Carlo's bakery, we came across OGB and I knew I had to go in. My mother is from Germany and is always reminiscing about all the goodies she misses from home, especially the "crunchy bread" so I wanted to bring her some things.
