My husband and I came all the way from Pennsylvania, very long ride... Could only get a few pieces of cake, no bread or Rolls available:( And this a little after 11 am! I am from Germany and I was hoping to find a German bakery.... the people that were there were from the Far East:)) Not a problem at all.. except my duds appointment

This is one of the few places in the area where one can find true German Broetchen and delicious pastries!
50% of the reason I still live in Hoboken - amazing products and a super nice staff that treats their regulars like family.
We are a German family and live in Morristown, NJ. Since we moved to the U.S. in 2016 we have never eaten such an authentic whole wheat bread in the U.S.! Amazing taste. We had “Kaffee & Kuchen” (coffee and cake) and the taste was so German. We were lucky and met the owner who introduced us into his bakery world. We definitely need to come more often to get our dose of bread.
The coffee was watery. I asked for stringer coffee. Staff refused.
