Food was fresh and flavored so well! Abita Purple Haze on tap-- laissez les bons temps rouler
They must be doing something right because they're still open but I stopped going about a dozen years ago after they renovated the place and it just lost its charm.... I do remember them having pretty good food at a reasonable price...Think I'll stop in sometime soon

Our server, Bryce was very attentive especially when we told him it was our first time. The food was delicious. My husband didn't want the blackened catfish but asked if he could have it fried and they fixed it perfectly--served hot. He was in heaven. I had the shrimp and grits and have tasted none so far. We will be back.
I lived in old town right by okras about 10 years ago. It was my nightly stop. Went back after 4 years and it still has that great vibe. Trust me when i say you will love it!
Not safe for anyone with a shellfish allergy. Wait staff was excellent and aware of my situation (I was a guest in a party, I didn't pick the restaurant) but there was obviously a cross contamination with dessert of all things.
Epic food and service. Had a great time and plan to come back soon �
