Cardiac surgical post-op care (staff/nurses) while in OHI was outstanding! A cardiologist (I had 3-4 different cardiologists in 24 hours) put me on atorvastatin even though it was in my charts/records that I was allergic to statins. I had adverse reactions & that is when I discovered that you are on your own after release. Care or follow-up after release is non-existent. Staff are very nice, helpful & on point. When you leave. They fallow up with you, the next day. To see how you are doing.
Sad excuse for a cardiologist. I have called trying to get an appointment after being referred by my primary care because of chronic tachycardia and fainting and they haven’t picked up the phone a single time after a month of sitting on hold for 30+ minutes.
