We have been a few times . It has been a while since we have been and the only thing I worry about is the last part with the waterfall worries me. Thank goodness people are around to help because almost every single person flipped there canoe or kayak . I’m so worried someone is seriously going to get hurt or drown.
Recommendedwent to Seminary canoe rental first they told us the wait was 1 hr we waited 1and half and still wasn't on the river. Called okatoma to see if they can fit Us in within 20 minutes we was on the river. THANKS OKATOMA Canoe YALL ROCK!!
This was a great ride—-I would have to say the only disappointing thing was all the trash on the beaches—but we will definitely return for another trip
RecommendedWe went kayaking this weekend & while your rental place & staff are great (nice clean showers) the river was nasty! We haven’t been in a year or so and I couldn’t believe how much it’s changed. There is trash on almost every stop area. Some places with huge piles. I know you guys don’t own the river so I don’t blame y’all but it’s a shame people have trashed it like that.
I didn't get in the canoes just camped out and fished nice spot to go for a family outing you have your own personal space no problems with other campers or anything like that the few other campers I came in contact with seemed like nice people I'd go again if the opportunity presented itself
