Great doctor
Worth the wait! Dr. Okamura is in a league of his own. He thoroughly & expertly reviewed my imaging then examined my joint. He explained it all & by the end of my initial consultation I knew exactly what to expect. I have confidence Dr Okamura can help me recover. While other doctors/surgeons have failed to even assess patients properly, I will gladly wait (as other reviewers have mentioned) as long as it takes to get things done right! Yes, I had to wait hours. Yes, it was worth it!
Suppose to have hand surgery in 2 wks. Still not sure the time, if need pre-op visit. Keep calling office, very hard to get to talk to anyone. Some times no answering machine will pick up. Recording says 8:00AM -4:00 PM , waiting at office to open at 8:00 AM and now 8:30AM no one here. Unsatisfactory
Been here on appointments twice and both times had to wait 45 minutes after my appointment time til I was seen. While trying to talk through my health concerns during my exam, he dictates everything I’m saying (as I’m saying them) into his phone’s voice notes. This was very distracting and made it hard to communicate.
A good place if you have 1-3 hrs of your life ready to be seating in a cold 🥶 waiting room. Just told the staff about how bad they are with scheduling ( knowing is the doctors fault) and she told me that’s how it has been over the years so …..
