They're the best. Period. The attention to detail is unmatched
I love this hospital and staff. My 17 yr old son had his first visit when he was 12. He is high functioning autistic. Bright lights and noise really bother him. They were all very understanding and accommodating. There was on particular nurse who really clicked with him on his last stay there. He usually doesn't like people teasing him as he doesn't always understand it. But this one he opened up with her and teased back. We were a little sad to leave. They made our numerous stays comfortable.
We were amazed at how knowledgable, friendly and professional all of the staff at Doernbecher hospital and campus were. From starting out at the tram thru the maze of hallways that is OHSU and our son's procedure in Doernbecher it made for a pleasant experience when we are there for a not so pleasant reason. We were especially impressed with how child oriented the waiting area is!
My daughter had to get a blood draw yesterday and I was worried they wouldn't get her tiny vein right away. (From past experience at a Kaiser doctor office it took them longer and stressed my child out.) But the two who were working DCH were amazing and got the vein right away. My daughter even got to pick out a prize for being so good. My daughter is only 2.
Love this place . they do such a great job. I use to go to a different office to see the kids doc. But i switched because this place goes out of there way to make the kids feel comforted .
The best of the best by far and wide in this country!
So proud to live in a city that has a most wonderful place with the best pediatric doctors in the nation! Always a wonderful experience during such trying times!
