We took our son (8) to the ER with a unknown stomach issues. They felt it was possible appendix. Blood work and ultrasound said yes, but physically exam said no. Rather then take him to surgery (what other hospitals would have done) he was admitted. After 3 days, LOTS of fluids, rest and meds, we left with a healthy little man.
