I had an extremely frustrating experience with AdventHealth Group. I went in for a routine preventive care visit, expecting it to be covered under my insurance as preventive services typically are. However, after receiving my bill, I was shocked to see that they had coded my visit incorrectly, resulting in a charge of $388.Ive since done some research and found that this is not an isolated issue. I've been charged for a service that should have been paid ?? percent by insurance coverage and I paid for service out of pocket and CANNOT get the billing department to file it correctly to get my money back. I've spoken to the insurance agent and they have also called the billing department and I'm still not seeing any results.

My mother has been at Doctors West for 6 days with confusion. The first 5 days she was treated very well. Yesterday she became agitated and she lost touch with reality and was acting out. Getting violent. She was restrained however after catherizing her she was not hooked back up to her PCO. She was wetting the bed and sat in it for hours. They came and cleaned her up and still didn't hook her back up. My niece had to tell the nurse that she needed hooked back up. My niece also noticed sores on her private area. I reached out to pt. Experience no help. My husband was in a motorcycle accident hit his head he couldn't even remember his name the injuries were graphic. I came to Sinai because my child kept having mental issues… I never thought I would be treated the way I was treated in MT. Pleasant and Sinai security… it was NO COMPASSION OR EMPATHY SHOWN.. after I expressed how INVOLVED I AM WITH MY CHILD MENTAL HEALTH STATE .. I asked for names and titles they refused to give . I call to check on my child they would hang up the phone or let it ring.. I have made several complaints to patient relations no response… ONCE I GET MY CHILD DISCHARGED.. THIS MEDICAL CENTER IS NOT VERY GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO, BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT THEY NEVER ANSWER THE ****** YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE.THEY CALL AND WANT TO CHANGE APPOINTMENT AT THE LAST MINUTE.OUR DOCTOR IS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS HOSPITAL, IS THE ONLY REASON I TRIED TO USE THEM. NOT GOING BACK. IF I COULD LEAVE A NEGATIVE STARS IT WOULD BE FIVE OF THEM.

This medical group will overcharge you, disregard health insurance EOBs, and make you call and message them over and over to resolve issues that are obviously their fault. I am a TRICARE patient, and I saw a provider in their group who was in network and had signed a contract to accept the TRICARE allowed charge as payment in full. They overcharged me beyond what the insurance allowed, then tried to charge me even more.
