My grandma has been in there for almost 4/6 weeks the nurses have been very rude to my mom . They kept her hands tied down for 15 days in a row . The nurse was asleep at the nurses station , they told my mom they didn’t have time to deal with the questions my mom had about them not being able to do an IV, PIC line or PEG tube , she has not ate or drank for 4 days they don’t care I am a nurse and I would never treat family or patients the way they have been doing us , there letting my mamaw sit there and die And I have no con... read more

My dad had a minor stroke was admitted and no one in our family got a "family code". I called 2 times and had no problem talking to a nurse without the code because my name was on the list of people who they could talk to. The third time i called, the operator was very rude and would not at least transfer me to the nurse. She hung up on me 3 times after this. Every encounter with the people that work there, from the check-in desk to post-surgery recovery, was beyond satisfactory. Every single aspect of the entire process far exceeded my expectations. I am very grateful to have been taken care of such a talented and positive group of professionals.
I spent several hours in this ED only because the staff wanted to assure I was safe enough to leave with my diagnosis. They were efficient , caring and thoughtful. A special shout out to my nurse Heather, Dr Buchanan, Dan( resident) and the CT staff for your compassionate care on Christmas Eve eve. Merry Christmas and thank you for all you do for your patients daily!
