Just to say my son is 18 and been going here for years, my daughter is 6 with down syndrome and born with a heart defect. I have always had excellent care for my children and never a problem with an appt.....until today! My children will not be back to this office as I was told there was an ill appointment at 430 but in the 15 minute time slot the chart says my daughter needs extra time so I should go to the er where they are more equipped to deal with her! We love our nurse practitioner and the rest of the staff here is very sweet. We've been taking our children here for over a year and have had nothing but good experiences. Yes, you have to sometimes wait while making an appointment, but I haven't had any trouble. Just be patient. If it is that big of an emergency, call 9-1-1! Haha.
Take your time when choosing a provider for your children, and find a practice that believes that the parent matters too! I took my 3 children here, we loved their pediatrician knowledgeable and caring doctor. However, we were shoved off on a nurse practitioner who threatened us with csb if I didn't get my children in help me grow immediately. FYI help me grow is a VOLUNTARY PROGRAM! Currently trying to get an appointment for my daughter.. They aren't open yet. 15 minutes late. Tired of playing phone wars in the morning when my child needs to get in, tired of having to take the highway or Rip Rap to take my kids to the doc... Switching.
