If you need to mail anything last minute there is a UPS office at the hotel attached to the airport. It saved me from losing my grandfather's small pocket knife that I forgot was in my carry on bag.
i have been in the airport money time when traveling from Buffalo New York to Los Angeles. Sometimes you have to walk a long way to get to the gate.

I love the lentil salad at Argo Tea where E and F gates meet.
Check out Rick Baylis Frontera Tortas in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Not fast food, but worth the wait.
Don't freak out if you fell asleep on the blue line and ended up here. Look for food and find shelter. Keep your spirits up that someone will find you.
Running through the terminal is not advised. You may leave your son Kevin at home.
