true talent and amazing place A+++ – This spot just opened and it is FIERCE! I walked in for a cut and color, met with mounir who consulted on what would make me look best and spent 90 minutes of pure relaxation at this superb salon and spa. Its tranquil waterfall and lovely space make for an overall A++ experience. Add Gene to your FAVORITES list...he's the BEST! – I was so excited to hear that ohlala now has Gene Matherne. Gene is absolutely fabulous. He took my dry thick hair with no shape and transform it into a beautiful, silky, shiny masterpiece! He is knowledgeable, quick and aims to give each customer a "special" touch. Thanks Gene!

The Best Salon in Decatur – My hairstylist was Gene. He is one of the Best that this city has to offer!!!!!! My cut and highlights were fantastic. Very professional upscale atmosphere and attitute. He and the Oh La La staff are definately a class act. I booked my next appointment already!! Everyone go see Gene and the Staff. You will not be disappointed!!!!!!

I went to mounir the other day for a hair cut and will never go to anyone but him from now on! I went on my lunch break hoping to get in and he fit me right in. No one can ever cut my hair properly but he did. he is very nice and understanding. Any girl looking for a great haircut thats awsome should call him.

Absolutley the worst expierence ever!!! – Oh my god! Don't ever go here! I went to the owner thinking I would get the best service from him. Boy, was I wrong. He took out chunks of my hair leaving me with bald spots! My color didn't even touch my roots, and it was orange. He was very rude, and acted like it was my fault that he messed up my hair. Stay away!
