My fiancée and I had a yummy meal here last night. We had heard good things. The atmosphere was strange, for a $400 meal we’d expect nicer seating, tables, decor etc. you’re met with a non-air conditioned hosting space when you walk in and where the kitchen is which I’m sure is uncomfortable for the cooks. Wow, what an amazing evening at Odd Duck tonight. The flavours were absolutely incredibly; At one point I was actually moved to tears. Emma has such a fantastic bar program—I’m so grateful for all the non-alcoholic options! The minds in the kitchen are so bright and they’re clearly a well-oiled machine. Truly a fantastic dining experience here. Each dish was clever and full of incredible flavours. The service was warm and informative. Very great vibe. Cost is high, but worth it if you feel like splurging. Would go again. However I'm still waiting for those menu notes from Wes :)
We were a party of 5 and left feeling quite disappointed, especially given the price point. When we sat down, our waitress emphasized that the menu is designed for sharing and recommended about 2 plates per person with dishes starting at around $24 each...
