Why is it that when I come to your downtown Long Beach location for happy hour, there is no one at the bar? When I try to get a server for assistance they tell me someone will be with me. It usually takes about 10 minutes before anyone takes my order. The red head who was the waitress tonight totally ignored me at the bar. I tried to ask her was there anyone at the bar to wait on me and she blew me off.
In town for TwitchCon and my friend Zippoppi referred us here. I’ve had amazing sushi in Portland, where I live. This was exquisite. You can dine in establishments that encourage your continued desire for that, or you can experience decadence at its finest. Sit down, relax, and enjoy an experience that will change how you feel about Japanese Cuisine. Excellent staff, incredible environment, and a place I will return to every time I am in Long Beach. Thank you all so much!
I'll always love the original Wasabi Restaurant, but it's not the same since my son's dad Victor and Brian don't own in anymore. Yeah the staff and the sushi chefs are different and the place is different entirely. The food is good, it's fresh sushi the beautiful environment it's a great place to be.

I loved the whole vibe of the restaurant not to mention the customer service was fabulous. Oh and did I mention the food oh OMG I will be going back!
Food was delicious but the service was not so great, waiters would bring the food and just leave without asking if we needed something else and they didn't show any social skills. They have to improve a lot in that area.
