I'd give zero stars if I could. These people are absolutely horrid. I had them work for me more than a decade ago and they screwed things up so badly that in the end I wound up paying *more* property tax and have been living with a poor valuation ever since. I fired them for their gross incompetence, and for the last ten years they've been abusively calling my home number telling me that I owe them for services -- every year. Avoid at all costs.

Hired O’Connor & Associates for tax reduction purposes. In a year of record high tax increases they only managed to decrease by less than 1% and slapped on a 50% contingency cost. Spent more money than I saved. Go elsewhere

O'connor sued me to collect fees they had demanded. They were unable to prove how they arrived at the fee they were suing me for. They dropped the case. These people bullied me for over a year and they were wrong. I consider them to be disreputable bullies to be avoided. Particularly Erica Hill, who was the main point of contact.

I would recommend to use them if you are not planning to contest the property value at all. Don't expect them to do good homework to fight for you. They go with basic stuff/information and generally ARB will reduce the value by small number/percentage and they get their share of 30-35% with minimal work. In past I have been doing contest on my own and had much better results (without paying anybody anything!). I regret going with them and have a strong feeling that I could have got my value much lower than what they got

I have been a client for several years. In a time of rising property taxes, O'Connor & Associates have managed to keep my property values under control. They have almost always been able to reduce the property tax. Their fees are compatible with other agencies I've used in the past. It is quite nice not to have to worry about this, not to have to do all the legwork and paper chasing, and just get a simple, easy-to-understand statement of their work.
