Saw a doctor about possible sleep apnea back in July. Referral was done for a sleep study. Still waiting to hear back for that sleep study. When I call no one can help me, no one ever calls me back, I am told different things each time.
I've been seeing Doctor Canfield here for years, the service is great. They also have an optometrist specialist and laboratory available on site.
Loved my first experience there! Dr. Nguyen took me at the last minute when Dr. Holt (Gretna) cancelled on me 20 minutes before my appointment. That unprofessionalism resulted in me finding a new doctor that I love. The staff here is friendly, professional, and upbeat. Management was very active with making sure the line moved quickly. I was called back in less than 10 minutes. Im very pleased!
No matter where you go, it's the connection between you and your Dr.,...my doc didn't have caring connection on his priority list, so I left and finally found a primary that listens & explains, in a way that gives you confidence! So, Ochsner medical institute on the whole,would get a 4.5, but my ex-primary, I'd give him a 0.0 for dr./patient relationship!
They try hard to co-ordinate all doctors and appointments for the patient so the be done in one day ; help reducing trips thus less stress for those with difficulties getting around ! Thanks
