Get directionsI recently had my daughter a little over a week ago and I can’t express enough how much I loved my experience here!!! The nurses were beyond helpful and patient with us! I had a little trouble with breastfeeding but they helped every step of the way. I really want to say thank you to Breana, Traci, Leyanne, and Sheri! There is plenty more amazing nurses that helped me while I was there, but those are the few that I remember! It was very hard going home knowing I couldn’t take my nurses with me! They were amazing and I’m glad... read more
I have a sister with Parkinson’s. We use the ER pretty frequently. About 4 mts ago I noticed a change in the quality and speed of getting attention. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t a fluke before I commented. I don’t know why but the speed and quality of care has significantly changed for the better. The communication is absolutely better. I truly appreciate the improvements and say to whomever is responsible you need to go to the main campus and teach them a thing or two!!! Great job and much appreciated
I recently went in with a ruptured appendix . they treated me like I was an animal and sent home with min.meds. .when complications arrived from their lack luster job I had to go back in an ambulance and was greeted with the same .
ED staff was awesome and professional with my son when he had an accident and needed stitches.
Been at Ochsner Westbank since 8:20. Not one dam doctor has been in the room yet to say a dam thing. THREE HOURS OF WAITING AND NOTHING! When they finally come in, of course they are going to want to run tests and then we will have to wait for results. RIDICULOUS! I used to consider Ochsner one of the best places in the city to receive health care. But they have gotten so big and so greedy that they are sacrificing patient experience for a buck. I’m about to leave and go to West Jefferson Medical Center.
I have made multiple trips to the er and had one 5 day stay, multiple test done and spent a month and a half making weekly trips to the infusion lab. So thankful for the caring doctors, nurses and lab techs who have taken such good care of me during what has been a really challenging time. Though the care I have recieved has made my burden much lighter
I have been in this ER since around 6pm. It is now 12am and still have not gotten a visit from a doctor. blood work was drawn and just placed on the counter next to me. I can hear nurses talk about other patients and they are constantly on their personal phones. This has been the worst ER visit ever. I could go on, but I just don't have the energy!
I went to Ochsner complaining of chest and back pain on my right side as well as numbness of my right side and twitching to the right side of my face. After being in the hospital for 5 plus hours. I was told that they have no clue why my leg and arms keeps falling asleep causing me to loose my ability to stand. I was also told that my face twitching was caused by my iron being low. They ran labs on me which included a CMP and a CBC. I was sent home in the exact same state I walked in. Im so sorry that I have allowed my healt... read more
