I have had problems with this hospital back in 2007 with my mom Nothing has changed. Nurses are lazy, uncooprrativr, an need more classes to learn if you want to be a nurse you need to act the roll. If you don't like people don't become a nude. Only nice nurses are up in testing on the 2nf floor by Icu. Other than that.. horrible horrible hospital
I must say that Ochsner has really picked up their game! My Son was triaged within ten minutes of signing in, to the back within ten minutes after being triaged and examined by one of the BEST Doctors on the planet. We had the wonderful pleasure of Dr. Hansen being our ER Doctor. I must say that Dr. Hansen has always gone above and beyond to ensure that my Son was comfortable and well taken care of over the years of visiting the ER. Waiting on medical records is like waiting on a snail to cross the road, and when you call to check the are so rude and hang up on you. Wish I would have never been a patient for 27 years anywhere else has the records in a day or two. Going on the 4th day and I can't even get anyone to tell me how many more day.

Everyone here were wonderful! I have never been to a clinic or hospital that I have been treated so well. Dr Lesley Meng, Dr Leise Knoepp and Kristina March and NP you are the greatest! My surgery at Ochner Baptist with Dr Knoepp will be March 28, 2017 and I know I will be in the best hands and the best hospital!

I was sent to the Ochsner ER after I passed out while driving. Thankfully my daughter, myself or my car wasn't injured when I went off of a country road. Many tests were done and because my weakness was from a prolonged flu or a bad case bronchitis, I was given other medical aids to help me feel better. My wait time was not long at all and everyone in the ER was extremely caring & efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again if I needed quick treatment. I just never want to faint while driving again.
