Absolutely Terrible!!!! Waited 2 hrs with Hubby and we wound up Leaving cause they couldn't tell us how long it would b!!!!
As a patient with multiple chronic illnesses and crazy symptoms, I went to see the Allergy/immunology clinic on Jefferson. I am trying to find what foods or chemicals I may have unusual reactions to in order to see if that will help me without adding on further medications. I was told that there isn't enough "evidence based research" for this type of testing and instead was offered different types of medications and tests within their "scope of experience." I have been a 'victim' of Ocgsner North shore. Pain Clinic doctor, John Vu, gave me a spinal epidural on June 7, 2016, and ever since then I have had partial paralysis of my legs, still unable to walk without a walker. What made it worse Dr Vu wouldn't even acknowledge me after that.
I centralized the bulk of my 15 doctors to Ochsner and it has been overall a great choice. However, the E.R. is woefully understaffed. When a 4-10 hour wait is given, I went to E.J.G.H.E.R., and was seen in minutes.
The medical staff are exceptional. They are informative and reassuring....from Radiology to Cancer Center to Surgical Dept....my husband has received excellent care and treatment....thank you Ochsner Hospital and staff.....
By far the best care we have ever had. The staff on the 5 th floor Post op Surgical center from the nurses to the all of the support staff were amazing!! Nurses Denise Bruce and Marchell need raises, they made out stay easier and more comfortable!! Nurse aid Jelissa is one of the most hardworking and kind young ladies that I have met in a long time!! Keep her around she is destined for greatness!! Thank you for being bright spots in a dark time for us!!!
My daughter has been a patient here since birth. Love the doctors, wouldn't go anywhere else. She is 14 now!!
