Where's Gordon ramsey when you need him? Maybe Gordon Ramsay could drop by and yell at these people, Broiled fish isn't broiled here, the Salad is without chicken you can see. Fried Fish, you'll get bigger by the minuet food is the specialty of the House. Cheap and filling, is sometimes needed, so drop by
Great little seafood place They give you good food abd the prices are great. They have great customer service and are timely with your meal!
Captain D's spinoff My wife and I attended this establishment on Sunday, April 19th, 2009 at 4:30. We were hoping to get something semi-healthy such as grilled or broiled fish, etc. Upon entering the building, we noticed a huge waterfall decoration to give the feel of being near the ocean. The Guy and his wife WTF!!! To the guy and his wife who went to this establishment, where the hell did ya think you were going some fine seafood resturant? Dumbass! You get what you pay for so if you and your wife want some fine seafood cuisine go to Red Lobster and stop being a cheap ass! Oceanview was really good when I went there. Go to Red Lobster!!!
longnempty My wife and I have been to many restaurants in Columbia. Ocean View is one of the best in South Carolina. You might get better service and ambiance, but the food is great and the price too low.
The jumbo shrimp and chicken gizzards were delicious. The honey mustard wings were tiny and literally yellow mustard on them. The fries aren't good at all. And the "Louisiana-style" gumbo is high sodium canned soup. Very poor customers service. The guy actually got condescending and rude when I ask for a different option or a refund. Had I known there was a no refund policy, I never would have dined there. "No Refunds" says they have no confidence in the quality of food they serve.
My 2 brothers, sister and daughter had lunch here Saturday, Aug.3rd, 2013,and we all agreed this was by far the best seafood in our area. We thoroughly enjoyed the great food and were pleasantly surprised by the huge selection, the large servings and the courteous service we received as well as the very satisfactory prices of the food. I ate in the restaurant tonight and the food and service could not have been better. I had fried scallops and oysters and they were cooked to perfection. Waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Try it, you will like it.
