Best low key place to stay in SF – Our second time here and will keep coming back. Beautiful place, love that they kept the 1930's architecture and character such as the lovely tile in the bathrooms. Yes the bathrooms are small but people back in the 30's were not as big as we are today, plus they only used them to take care of business and get out. What a FIND!!! I stumbled upon the Ocean Park Motel by accident, and am so very glad I did... Do not let the word MOTEL turn you off. This is the greatest, cleanest, most well kept, and best hotel/motel value I have found in San Francisco. The property is quite something, it was the first motor hotel in San Francisco. The rooms are immaculate, and very well equipped. The landscaping is phenomenal, and so well kept. The property is pet friendly, and is steps to Ocean Beach.
