For the 2nd time in three years OCVH saved one of my dogs life. Both dogs .. Airedales .. had tumors on the spleen and each was bleeding out. We lost our first Airedale Andrew to that horrid disease Hemangiosarcoma... his tumor was cancerous and was not a patient of OCVH at the time ... .. these next two that own us .. Mel & Harry each had benign tumors on the spleen. However ... without very quick surgery they too would have died from blood loss.. be it benign or cancer! The staff at OCVH are amazing. Whether it's a routine visit, saying goodbye to a four legged family member or my dogs surgery yesterday for a mass, I can not say enough. Professional, courteous, compassionate and communicative. Thank you all so much. My babies and I truly appreciate all you do
They killed my rabbit. Extremely unprofessional and extremely insensitive. Rabbit went in for a spay and left dead. Do not go here.
Bad Vet experience! Upon looking at their website, the "doctor" I dealt with seems to specialize in FIC, so apparently that means every cat has it. She misdiagnosed my sick cat and he's been suffering for it.
Dr. Mitchell and the rest of the Doctors/ Staff are incredible! I have never met a group of people who care so much for their furry patient's! I always know my puppy is in the best hands and never have to worry about her care. Leia was spayed on Tuesday and also needed 4 teeth pulled. I walked in a nervous wreck and left feeling relieved that these were the people taking care of my baby! Thank you all so much!
We love everyone at OCVH! Dr. Weiner is so knowledgeable and honestly cares for every pet we've ever brought to him, as if they were his own. He is extremely gentle and takes his time with us. Dr. Weiner also explains everything so thoroughly and breaks down the cost for you before doing any procedure. He will help you set everything up in a way that makes sure your animal is cared for and you can afford it. I just left the Toms river office with my 2 guinea pigs and I couldn't be more happy.The staff was amazing!! Everyone was so nice and the doctor was very knowledgeable with guinea pig care which is hard to find.She clipped both my boys nails with such ease and did a well check. I'm so glad I didn't have to shop around for a guinea pig savy vet. I will def. Be back 😀
