I saw Dr. Sykes in June 2024 - the whole process from enquiring, booking an appointment to the consultation was such a positive experience. Admin, Kylee, was very helpful, warm and welcoming. I sought a specialist opinion from Dr. Sykes regarding a previous pregnancy and birth, as well as, specialist advice on my most recent pregnancy when planning for a safe delivery. When it comes to your pregnancy there are a lot of things to consider not only your fears, hopes, changes in your body and unexpected events that come along the way but closure knowing you are going to be in good hands especially after loosing a daughter as you are more suceptable to being vulnerable and scared and it takes a good understanding Obstetrician to understand this. I honestly don’t know where to begin in thanking Dr Sykes for everything he did for us. It was such a crazy journey and such a long pregnancy but not only that a crazy start to Xavier’s life and me after birth. But I can say that I whole heartedly felt so safe and looked after by Dr Sykes the whole way through. With both my kids (although my first was no where near this complicated) I have never ones second guessed or doubted his ways of handling the situations. Dr Sykes not only kept me calm the whole pregnancy but I felt so supported . Even Kylie at reception the whole team truely made me get through everything with ease. When it came to my birth Sykes kept me cool calm and collected. He checked on my days after made sure I was ok . Someone that take true pride in what he does and Cares for his patients . Thank you Dr Sykes and team for being my little girl into this world I’m so grateful xxxx
