Sean's work is exceptional! This window is circa 1912. Twenty years ago I had a couple panes on this window repaired (lower left) by a glass shop north of Pittsburgh and that repair hadn't sat right with me since. I broke a couple panes (upper right) last summer while recklessly moving a box mattress, which I interpreted as the Universe's motivation to restore this window to its original grace. The leaded window in our front door separated from its supports and began to bow out. We contacted Observatory Hill Stained Glass Studio. They were able to stabilized it, remove it and rebuild it. It was a pleasure to work with such skilled craftsmen. Sean came when he said he was going to come and left everything cleaned up. His work is meticulous.
I needed some glass cut for an old window I was restoring. It was an exceptional experience!! Sean had exactly what I needed and cut it perfectly to fit. I Enjoyed his shop and seriously want to hang out there in my spare time!! I’m so glad to have met a stained glass artist so close to home and professional. The price was so reasonable, I literally paid extra. Don’t hesitate to patronize this business.
Our lead glass window was starting to break down and the center piece had fallen out. Sean did fantastic work. Our window is stronger than ever. He was responsive throughout the process and kept me up-to-date on the progress. I highly recommend Observatory Hill Stained Glass.
