Stopped in for the first time today for breakfast. Best hash browns I've ever had!! We will definitely be going back to try their regular menu. Staff was very friendly, got a seat right away and loved the ambiance. Oh...and your biscuits are AMAZING!!
Honestly my wife and I have heard mixed reviews but decided to try it. The fish was terrible. Never have I had fish that greasy. Service was "ok" not personable at all. Threw my to go box in the trash because I didn't want our server to know we didn't like it. Won't be going back.
We stopped in for lunch on April 5. The food was good. We ordered off the 'wee lunch' menu and had just the right amount. We really enjoyed the interior decor. The staff was very friendly, our wait person very personable and the service was fast, but not too fast. All in all, I say give it a try. Start with lunch as it is cheaper and will give a quick look at the place. The food was good, I thought. I had the fish and chips. Yum.
I have never been so disappointed with a restaurant, we actually walked out. We waited to be seated and the hostess was on the phone and didn't even acknowledge us for at least 2 minutes. When she did finally seat us she put us at a little table right outside the kitchen even with the front doors when the restaurant was 90% empty (which should have been our first red flag) we asked for a booth. Was so very disappointed with our first trip to O'Briens. Was so looking forward to it and decided to take my family there for my birthday. Our server was terrible. My daughter ordered a Cesar salad, that we had to ask for 3 times, it was finally handed to her in a take out box as she was leaving. Supposedly it was knocked off the counter, but no one thought to make another??? And she said when she opened it, it looked like it had been scraped off the floor. Great place to eat! Food was delicious! Fries are to die for! Friendly staff and patrons. All around an amazing experience!
