I found out I was pregnant and was referred to Dr. Tana Setness-Hoefs. She is truly amazing. Every appointment went smoothly and she answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. This was my first baby, so I had many concerns, and she took the time to address every one of them. There were a few times I needed to reschedule appointments, and the front desk staff always handled it quickly and made the process easy. I’ve had pretty bad experiences with Altru’s physicians being dismissive of longterm issues like fatigue, abdominal pain, pain during sex, zero libido, etc, but it’s my most recent trips that encouraged me to write a review warning others that you won’t be listened to here. I requested cultures to be ran through a third party (out of pocket cost for me) that requires physician approval because altru doesn’t offer this particular test. Absolutely horrible care, everyone I came into contact with gave off a miserable vibe like they just do not enjoy their jobs what so ever. They make the journey of pregnancy dreadful and not a pleasant happy experience. They do not even want to look at the baby, listen to heartbeat or do ultrasounds. They will not give you pictures, instead they tell you to go to records and request pictures and they “might” be able to put them on a disc for you.
