I think the recruiter Kristi is awesome for helping me and giving me good advice. I also think Oakley transport would be a awesome company to work for as well.
My Grandpa Ernest Melton drove truck for many years for Oakley. Received the million mile safe driver award. He Loved it!! And was always able to come through and see us in Wyoming in his way to Washington. Got to seen the yard a few times when we would come to Lakeland to visit. Really miss seeing that Mack Vision and the Oakley tanker come through!
Oakley robs their drivers!!! DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY!!! Especially if you are a POC! You will not get good loads or bonuses. They start you out good with promises of making big money, but once you’re on it slows down, and you’ll notice you’re not making them money yet hey said you would, but others drivers are. If you do sign on READ ALL THE FINE PRINT BEFORE SIGNING ANY PAPERWORK!
