This place is good. Nice frames. Customer service is good. Friendly people work there. The only thing I don't enjoy is the trial pair contact lens situation. Whenever my prescription changes, they will give me a trial pair to wear for about a week or two, then tell me to come back. THEN, if there aren't any problems, that's when they will order your contacts. Its very inconveniencing to be going back and forth, back and forth, to your optometrist's office, when they can just order the contact lenses during your initial visit... read more

I recommended Oakland Fashion Optical to a friend who has very unusual eyes, and now instead of needing two pairs of glasses, she wears one pair. She was very happy with the product and the price! Oakland Fashion Optical is also very conveniently located, it's easy to pass through Oakland and pop inside to look at new glasses. The owner, David King is always very polite, knowledgeable and professional.
Mr. King was extremely helpful and have me perfect advice. Highly recommend.
