Doctor Root was extremely thorough & reasonably priced. A very kind man with a beautiful facility.
I love having this resource in my back yard. I enjoy the free educational seminars and the feeling of belonging every time I walk in the barn. I'm very lucky that my gelding has not needed their expert services, or AI �, but I have urged many friends to visit the Oakhurst Team and will continue to do so with the utmost trust in their services. Dr Root is my go to vet! I know at Oakhurst they will make sure my animals are performing at their best abilities, and not only Dr Root, but the whole staff, genuinely care about my animals!
I was so pleased with the service that my mare received at Oakhurst. Dr. Root performed Kissing Spine corrective surgery on her, which she recovered very well from. Dr. Magorian bred her, and after a difficult AI that didn't take, she pulled out all the stops and managed a successful breeding. Baby "Scout" is due June 28, 2017, and I couldn't be happier! Thanks to all of the wonderful vets at Oakhurst!
