The entire team at Oakhurst really care and do the best job they can at solving a need for their patients. They are great at explaining what is going on with your horse and the steps needed to find a cure or fix a problem.
Only equine veterinarians I will use. This past weekend I was out of state with a horse that developed a pulled muscle in her stomach and tied-up. Dr. Root was amazing! He took time out of his busy schedule to make sure that the mare and I were taken care of, even though they couldn't be there to treat her directly. The mare is doing great! Thank you, Dr. Root, for your amazing customer service and concern for the health of our horses.

My first time with this vet. I have never left a vet appointment feeling so happy and confident about the diagnosis and treatment my horse received! Dr. Root was so informative and thorough in his diagnosis and explained exactly and clearly to me what to do for his at home treatment- and why it will work. Really went over and above!!🌟
