The Oakdale Bar & Grill re-opened in February 2019. It is located next to the Oakdale Dam on the south side of Lake Freeman in Monticello, Indiana. Since then, the owners, Nick Blum, Dewey Brown, & Nicole Brown, have been motivated to not only continue the long legacy of The Oakdale, but they continue to provide a family friendly atmosphere with exceptional American Cuisine, Cold Beer, and Great Times.

Best dam inn in the land. Wonderful customer service and the personalities are the best. Highly recommend.
Very friendly atmosphere. Hometown feel. I had the ribeye steak. Cooked perfect.
Very good restaurant. Service is and always is great, food is beyond awesome. Really looking forward to my next time there!
Where it all began for me... Mad love for this place!! So much more than just a bar/restaurant, it's a family and one that I will never forget!
